Selected Work

Proof, without exposure.

Most of this work cannot be shown the usual way. The people I write for have more to protect than to promote. Names, drafts, conversations and results stay private.

That does not make the work invisible. It means the proof is handled with the same judgment as the reputation behind it.

Clients are not named here. That is a condition of the work, not a gap in it. Each case shows the highest level of proof that client permits.

The writing

These are the engagements. This is the writing.

Four situations senior people bring me often, the passage I would write for each, and the reasoning under it. Nothing there belongs to a client.

What it reads like

The work behind it

Reach is one kind of evidence. The process is another.

Foundation first

Positioning, voice, profile and content direction are settled before regular publishing begins.

No writing is done against a position nobody has decided on.

Content territories

Each subject is tied to a business priority, not to whatever is performing that week.

This is what keeps the work from drifting into general advice.

Direct access

Original writing based on real conversations, real decisions and real experience.

Nothing is assembled from what is already public.

A defined review path

Who drafts, who reviews, who approves, and in what order.

Agreed before the first piece, not improvised around it.

Legal and compliance limits

Anything touching legal, financial, personnel or reputational risk is handled before it is drafted.

In regulated industries a wrong sentence is not an editing problem.

Ongoing judgment

What should be said, what should be implied, and what should stay private.

Part of the job is stopping things.

The clearest sign the system works is not that every draft is accepted without a question. It is that, after calibration, the conversation stops being about the voice and moves to facts, judgment and timing.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is part of the work.

Some results can be named. Some can be measured but not attributed. Some can only be shown through the quality of the process.

When a name cannot be shown, the role, the decision and the outcome still can. When a number cannot be shown, the change in clarity, consistency or approval can. When nothing can be made public, confidentiality is still not negotiable.

Protecting the person behind the work matters more than using their name to win the next engagement.

If one of these sounds like your situation, start the conversation.

None of them started with writing. All of them started with deciding what the profile was for.
